Dr. Claudia Anderson
My name is Dr. Claudia Anderson. I am the owner of Family Dental Care Park Ridge. I graduated from Loyola University with a BSN in 1976 and worked in a variety of settings as a registered nurse. I love working with people and wanted to continue in a profession that allowed patient care and patient teaching, so I went back to school in 1986 at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and graduated in 1990. I started working with my father, Dr. Kenneth Anderson at Family Dental Care, in 1990, a practice that he had built up since 1954. I bought the practice from my Dad in 1996. In January of 2002, I moved the practice to Park Ridge Illinois where we continued to flourish and serve the wonderful northwest suburban community. Recently we moved to our current location at 111 S. Washington Suite#202 in Park Ridge where we proudly offer state of the art dental technology combined with our philosophy of compassion, kindness and dental health expertise. We continue to grow and are proud to serve the Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights, Niles, Edison Park, Norwood Park and Chicago-land communities’ dental and oral health care needs.

Dr. Matthew Demas
My name is Dr. Matthew Demas and I am a dentist at Family Dental Care Park Ridge. I completed my education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. I have been working at Family Dental Care Park Ridge since June of 2010 and I am excited each day to bring my professionalism and dental experience to this well established practice.
As a dentist, I believe it is our professional responsibility to be involved in the community in which we work in. I have had the wonderful opportunity to be involved in several organizations that aimed to improve the general and oral health of the residents in the surrounding areas. My experiences have taught me to treat not only the dental needs of patients, but the overall health needs as well.
I believe that it is also important to be a part of the dental community in which we work in. I am an active member of several organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. These organizations give me the resources to enhance my skills through dental networking and continuing education. I have completed many courses in areas such as oral surgery, endodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry. These organizations have also given me the opportunity volunteer for programs such as Give Kids a Smile and Special Olympics-Special Smiles.
Dentistry can only be successful if a trusting dentist-patient relationship is established. I believe this is achieved through treating someone as a person first, and a patient second. I strive to keep my patients comfortable and well informed about their dental health.

Dr. Lindsay Diaz
My name is Dr. Lindsay Diaz and I am the newest edition to Family Dental Care Park Ridge. I received my doctorate of dental surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2010. Prior to becoming a dentist, I practiced as a full time dental hygienist for three years and continued practicing throughout my dental education. I find having widespread knowledge of not only oral health but also expertise in periodontal health has helped me to be able to treat my patients more comprehensively.
I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. I believe it is imperative to keep abreast of current topics, techniques, and procedures in the field of dentistry. To keep current I attend continuing education courses year round to ensure that I am instructed in the most up to date techniques so that I can provide quality dental care to my patients.
As a general dentist, I typically perform exams, restorations, and fixed restorative work including veneers, crowns, and bridges. I also enjoy being able to branch out into specialty experiences like endodontics, the fabrication of removable appliances, and extractions.
In my free time, you will find me cheering on my alma mater Marquette University during basketball season and rooting for the Chicago Bears during the fall. I spend as much time as I can with family and pursuing active hobbies.
