Park Ridge DDS Interviews Endodontist Dr. Kevin King
Another very exciting segment of Word of Mouth Wednesday. This week, Dr. Anderson is honored to interview Dr. Kevin King of King Endodontics where he and Dr. Brett Gilbert provide exceptional and compassionate endodontic therapy.
An endodontist is a dentist specializing in diseases of the dental pulp and nerve. Unfortunately, the image of having a root canal sends unnecessary shivers down many people’s spines. Comedians have made root canals the butt of many jokes. Horror movies incorporate scenes of dentists drilling into the nerve of teeth without anesthetic. People share stories about someone they knew who knew someone who’s third cousin had a bad experience with a root canal and it scares you. Dr. King and Dr. Anderson are going to try to dispell these myths and share with you the facts…and the facts are that root canals are not bad at all.
In this segment you will learn exactly what a root canal is, why they are almost never painful, how long they take, what to expect after a root canal and much more. We hope that this video interview clears up any misconceptions that you may have had regarding root canal therapy. If you still have questions, we would be more than happy to help you. You can email either Dr. King or Dr. Anderson with your questions or concerns.
And always remember…we LOVE making you smile!
