Not too long ago, I was privileged to meet a very enterprising and engaging entrepreneur by the name of Betty Jean Bell.  Betty is the fabulous creator of Love Your Work Life, where her tag line speaks to her passion…make a living, living your dreams. Betty Jean and I have become fast internet friends. Because she lives in Austin Texas and I live, well, a long way north of there, we have not had the chance to meet in person. Her energy and enthusiasm, however, are so palpable, I can practically feel her love and support from far away. One of the many great things that Betty Jean does on her site is to interview really interesting people and post the interviews as podcasts. I was touched and a little embarrassed when Betty Jean requested an interview from me. On the day of the interview, I was a little nervous… until she called…and then….the nervousness completely disappeared. Talking with Betty Jean on the phone was for me like talking to an old friend over a cup of coffee in the kitchen. She made me feel so relaxed I truly forgot that we were recording our conversation. Betty Jean’s passion for life spills over onto all that she does…she is one of life’s most genuine cheerleaders. Everyone should be as lucky as I am to have a Betty Jean in their life.  In this podcast, we talk about my entering dentistry as a profession, my Dad’s (Dr. Kenneth Anderson)  strong and loving influence in my life and how I have incorporated social media as part of my marketing strategy for my practice.
